Abstract
We propose a fast sequential-estimation algorithm for separating multi ple cochannel digital signals using an antenna array with unknown arra y response. We present simulation results comparing speed and bit erro r rate (BER) performance with an existing fast joint-estimation algori thm, the iterative least squares with projection (ILSP) algorithm. The new algorithm proves to be faster with only a modest degradation in B ER. In addition, convergence speed is very robust with respect to addi tive noise.
