Abstract
Adsorption-desorption of alpha-amylase and glucoamylase on insoluble a mylose and subsequent hydrolysis were found to be kinetically related processes. Similarities and distinctions between the amylolytic and ce llulolytic enzymes of close specificity in their adsorption on insolub le substrate and its hydrolysis were observed.
