Abstract
We report a case of infectious osteitis pubis following a first trimes ter abortion in a female seropositive for the human immunodeficiency v irus HIV. Joint aspiration yielded Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the pati ent was successfully treated with oral ciprofloxacin.
