Abstract
Thermodynamic properties of CCl4 adsorbed on oxidized microporous carb on obtained from polyfurfuryl (PF) alcohol are reported, and compared with those reported previously for non oxidized carbon. The influence of the oxidation is discussed on the basis of the changes in integral molar heat, entropy and heat capacity of an adsorbed phase at 308, 328 , and 348 K.
