Abstract
Rabbit as an intermediate host of Hammondia heydorni has been reported for the first time by orally inoculating them with oocysts and feedin g their meat 90 days after inoculation to dogs, which in turn passed o ocysts in their faeces. Similarly experimental infection in guinea pig s was also caused
