Abstract
A model for computing the albedos and BRDF (bidirectional reflectance distribution function) of inhomogeneous land surfaces consisting of tw o different components has been developed. An empirical equation, base d on the model results, for calculating albedos of inhomogeneous land surfaces and avoiding errors caused by shadowing effect was set up.
