The probable decays H --> WW --> lvjj and H --> ZZ --> lljj of the Hig
gs boson with m(H) = 1 TeV/c2 produced in pp collisions at 16 TeV c.m.
s. energy via WW(ZZ) fusion are considered. Special attention is paid
to the influence of the assumed parameters of the central calorimeter
on the reconstruction of the W(Z) --> jj decay at large P(T) and to th
e influence of the assumed parameters of the forward calorimeter on th
e registration of jets produced by the scattered target quarks. A poss
ibility of extracting the Higgs boson signal from background events is
discussed with allowance for the superposition of several semihard ev
ents occurring in the intersecting bunches of interacting particles.
