Abstract
An elderly woman with a history of a total hysterectomy underwent fine needle biopsy of an ovarian lesion during laparotomy. The cytologic f indings demonstrated adenocarcinomatous and heterologous sarcomatous c ells and were reported as a malignant mixed mullerian tumor. A histolo gic examination confirmed this diagnosis.
