Abstract
Reaction of 1-acetylenic derivatives of anthraquinone with hydrazine a ffording substituted 4H-anthra[9,1-cd]-1,2-diazepin-8-ones and 7H-dibe nzo[de,h]quinolin-7-ones is reported.
