C-14 chronology Of Late Pleistocene paleogeographical events in the Bl
ack Sea-Caspian Sea region shows that the following transgressions par
tly correlate with each other: Karangat and Khazarian; Neo-Euxinian an
d Khvalyn; Holocene and Neo-Caspian. The main climatic events were syn
chronous in intercontinental Siberia. In the far eastern region, the M
iddle-Wisconsinan transgression is reflected by Chukotka and western K
amchatka terraces and by submerged ancient shorelines in Primorye.
