We describe a method to stabilize the output signal of a light detecto
r built around a measuring bridge of four photoresistors, of which two
are closed and used as a load. The signal generated in the bridge dia
gonal under illumination is amplified by a differential amplifier arou
nd two transistors with a gain controlled by the bridge current. The d
rop in the bridge signal as the temperature rises is compensated by a
simultaneous rise in the gain, which stabilizes the output signal.
