Abstract
The electron impact-mass spectra as well as the complementary chemical ionization-mass spectra (with the reactant gas ammonia) of various st ructural types of sesquiterpene lactones isolated from Achillea specie s are discussed in respect to the important information either gained by fragmentation patterns or by the quasimolecular ions.
