Abstract
This investigation has studied the effect of corrosive reagents on the service properties of high-porosity ceramic materials with a cellular -latticed structure, that appear to be promising carriers for catalyst s in a number of catalytic processes. The acid and alkali resistance o f high-porosity ceramic materials based on aluminosilicate systems has been examined, and the weight loss caused by treatment with corrosive reagents over a 5 day period in static conditions was determined.
