Abstract
Mitral valve replacement, using a cryopreserved mitral homograft, was performed in a 49-year-old patient with calcified mitral stenosis. Pos toperative course was uneventful. Transesophagel echocardiography perf ormed 6 months later showed normal function of the mitral homograft.
