Abstract
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for the system n-heptane/toluene/o-xyle ne/propylene carbonate were obtained at 25-degrees-C. Experimental tie line data were measured by gas chromatographic analysis. The UNIQUAC and NRTL models were used to predict the quaternary data from the corr esponding ternary data. Agreement between the predictions and the expe rimental data was satisfactory.
