Abstract
We present a continuously tunable nonrecursive radio-frequency (RF) ph otonic filter. The filter provides fine tuning through the use of a no vel RF phase shifter and coarse tuning using an all optical variable t ime delay. This architecture permits wide-hand continuous tuning of th e filter null frequency and is useful in applications such as moving t arget indication (MTI) in an airborne radar.
