We found conditions for excitation of bright-bright 2pi solitons in st
imulated Raman scattering that involves nutation of population at Rama
n quantum levels, for two (laser- Stokes) and three (e.g., laser - Sto
kes - anti-Stokes) components. The soliton components at all participa
ting frequencies are bright solitons of the same, Lorentzian, shape, i
n contrast to the well-known bright - dark soliton combination in stim
ulated Raman scattering.
