Abstract
The goal of this paper is to discuss a method which allows an accurate determination of the linewidths and the lineshifts from FT spectra re corded at room temperature, by fitting composite profiles and taking i nto account the phase errors. The results of the measurements of the p ressure effects on some CO, H2O, and CO2 lines in the 5-mu m spectral region are used to test the method. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
