The ground state millimeter- and submillimeter-wave spectra of (CD3F)-
C-12, (CD3F)-C-13, (CH3Br)-Br-79, (CH3Br)-Br-81, and CH3C=CH have been
observed and accurate rotational and centrifugal distortion constants
have been derived from their analysis. The possibility of resolving t
he A(1)-A(2) Splitting of the K = 3 lines is discussed. The rotational
spectra of CH3C=CH in the vibrational states upsilon(5)(A(1)) = 1 and
upsilon(10)(E) = 1 have been measured. For the latter state, lines up
to 1050 GHz (J = 60) were measured. These new data have been used to
improve the accuracy of the rotational, centrifugal distortion, and vi
bration-rotation interaction constants. A local anharmonic interaction
between the states / upsilon(5) = 1; J, K = 3 or 4] and / upsilon(10)
= 3; l(10) = +/- 3, J, K = 3 or 4] is analyzed by a simple second-ord
er perturbation treatment. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
