Abstract
Distannylated bis(cyclopentadienyl) and bis(indenyl) ligands react wit h ZrCl4 and HfCl4 to give the corresponding ansa-metallocenes in high yield. It was shown that the racemic forms of ansa-metallocenes could be prepared from the racemic forms of starting dielement-substituted b is(cyclopentadienyl) ligands.
