Abstract
The microsystem technology aims at the complete integration, monolithi c or hybrid, of the functions for sensing, actuating and signal proces sing : the first products are arriving on the market and the main axes of research are now well identified. The authors, taking support of s ome recent French realizations, describe the general state of the art and trends related to that emerging technology.
