Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the stereotypical attitud es of college students toward a variety of social situations involving Asian Americans. The authors were also interested in the effects of d ifferential labeling of Asian Americans on the attitudes held toward t hem (i.e., ''Asian'' versus ''Oriental'').
