Abstract
Euphorbia breonii Nois. is a superfluous renaming of E. milii Des Moul . E. milii var. breonii Ursch & Leandri is an invalidly published nome n nudum, excluding the type of its epithet-bringing synonym. The taxon known today as ''E milii var. breonnii'' is sufficiently close to E. milii var. hislopii (N. E. Br.) Ursch & Leandri to be regarded as a me re variant of it. A lectotype is designated for E. milii Des Moul.
