Abstract
In Electra pilosa, a cheilostome bryozoan species characterized by a l ong larval life surviving many weeks in the plankton, we can observe a n intraspecific clinal variability from Brittany to the north of Norwa y, with genetic incompatibility between the geographically extreme pop ulations of the chain.
