Abstract
The first known Texas population of the land planarian Geoplana arkala bamensis Ogren and Darlington, 1991, is reported. Three additional spe cies of land planarians previously reported from Texas [Caenoplana coe noplana vaga (Hyman, 1943), Kontikia mexicana (Hyman, 1939), and Bipal ium kewense Moseley, 18781 are reviewed and new descriptive informatio n is given for all four species. New state localities are given for B. kewense.
