WEEVILS (COLEOPTERA, CURCULIONIDAE) AS A PART OF FOREST ZOOEDAFON IN THE VICINITY OF MORAVA RIVER

During the year 1991 author carried out research of beetle communities on 4 areas in the surrounding of Morava river. One area represented t he forest community Salici-Populetum, 3 of them Fraxineto-Ulmetum quer cetosum. The average abundance of beetles was 150 ex.m-2 for the dry t ype of lowland forests. 39 weevil species were obtained from soil. Soc ion Acallecium echinati with Trachodes hispidus was described on the b ase of dominant weevil species. Some other faunistically important spe cies were determined: Bagous frivaldszkyi, Poophagus hopffgarteni, Ceu torhychus pollinarius.
