Abstract
5-Methyl-2-propargylthio-3-thiophenecarbaldehyde oxime is a convenient synthon for the synthesis of fused tricyclic systems containing annel ated thiophene, thiopyran (dihydrothiopyran), and isoxazoline (isoxazo le) rings.
