Calibrated Halpha and continuum CCD frames are used to measure the emi
ssion-line luminosities, sizes, and morphological characteristics of 8
2 H II regions in the dwarf irregular galaxy, Ho II, in the M81 group.
The assemblage of H II regions is statistically normal: the luminosit
y function fits a power law with a slope of - 1.70 and the size distri
bution is roughly exponential with a scale length of 85 pc. An unusual
ly large number of H II regions show ring structures, a fact that may
be correlated with this galaxy's unusual H I structure (Puche, D., Wes
tphall, D., Brinks, E., and Roy, J.-R. 1992, AJ, 103, 1841).
