CLINICAL AND HEMODYNAMIC-EFFECTS OF THE G ABAERGIC STRESS-LIMITING SYSTEM ACTIVATOR SODIUM VALPROATE (ACEDIPROL) AND ETHACIZINE IN PATIENTSWITH CARDIAC-ARRHYTHMIAS
Vv. Skibitsky et al., CLINICAL AND HEMODYNAMIC-EFFECTS OF THE G ABAERGIC STRESS-LIMITING SYSTEM ACTIVATOR SODIUM VALPROATE (ACEDIPROL) AND ETHACIZINE IN PATIENTSWITH CARDIAC-ARRHYTHMIAS, Kardiologia, 32(7-8), 1992, pp. 21-25
Hemodynamic and antiarrhythmic effects of acediprol and ethacizine wer
e examined in 51 patients with premature ventricular contraction concu
rrent with neurocirculatory dystonia and coronary heart disease. It wa
s ascertained that acediprol exerted a positive inotropic action and e
thacizine lowered myocardial contractility. Acediprol therapy prevents
or attenuates the hypokinetic and arrythmogenic effects of stimulated
, stress in patients with ischemic and non-ischemic arrhythmias. The p
reventive antiarrhythmic effect of acediprol is the most pronounced in
patients with neurocirculatory dystonia. Ethacizine fails to improve
hemodynamic supply of the stress test and enhances stress-related hypo
dynamia in some patients.
