Abstract
A bright transient source was detected on August 7, 1993 by the WATCH instrument onboard the GRANAT observatory. The maximum flux was record ed on August 7 just after the discovery of the source. It was 600 mCra b in the energy range 8 - 20 keV. The source was consistently detected until August 11. The detector didn't reveal a significant flux from t he source at energies higher than 20 keV. The results of localization and the light curve of the source are presented.
