Abstract
The suppression factors R of neutrino energy losses in reactions of th e direct urca processes by the superfluidity of baryons in neutron sta r cores were calculated. The superfluidity of baryons in the S-1(0) an d P-3(2) states with a projection of total baryon-pair momentum onto t he quantization axis m = 0 or m = 2 was treated. In the case of strong superfluidity of the S-1(0) or P-3(2) type (m = 0) for particles of t he same sort (T much less than T(c), where T(c) is the critical temper ature), the factor R drops exponentially as temperature T decreases. T he factor R decreases like (T/T(c))2 at strong superfluidity of the P- 3(2) type (m = 2). If baryons of both species participating in the dir ect urca process display strong superfluidity, the factor R is close t o the minimum factors for baryons of the same type. These results are necessary for simulation of cooling of neutron stars with superfluid c ores.
