Abstract
Four agromyzid species from Taiwan, Ophiomyia scaevolana, Tropicomyia alocasiae, T. passiflorelia and Metopomyza taipingensis, are described as new to science. Characters of male and female adults, mining patte rns and larva or puparium of O. scaevolana, T. alocasiae and T. passif lorella are illustrated. Differences of male genitalia from related sp ecies are proposed for diagnostic discrimination.
