Aa. Pankov et N. Paver, CONSTRAINTS ON Z' FROM W- PRODUCTION AT THE NLC WITH POLARIZED BEAMS(W), Physics letters. Section B, 393(3-4), 1997, pp. 437-444
We discuss the potential of NLCS00 and NLC1000 to probe Z-Z' mixing an
d mass by the reaction e(+)e(-)-->W+W- with longitudinally polarized e
lectrons. We perform a model-independent analysis of the deviations fr
om the Standard Model, and apply it to a specific class of extended we
ak gauge models. Results indicate that the corresponding bounds at the
NLC500 complement the present ones obtained from LEP1, and rapidly be
come quite stringent at the higher energy of the NLC1000. Also, we emp
hasize the importance of initial beam polarization in improving the se
nsitivity to the mixing.
