Abstract
A single-crystal structure analysis for Ga2TeO6 is reported. The compo und crystallizes in an inverse trirutile-type structure (tragonal, spa ce group P4(2)/mnm; a = 4.5594(3), c = 8.970(1) angstrom = c/a = 1.967 4, V = 186.47(3) angstrom3, Z = 2). The structure was refined to R = 0 .059, R(w) = 0.043 for 249 absorption-corrected reflections.
