Qt. Guo et Oj. Kleppa, STANDARD ENTHALPIES OF FORMATION OF NI3TA, PD3TA, PT3NB, PT2V AND PT3V BY HIGH-TEMPERATURE DIRECT SYNTHESIS CALORIMETRY, Journal of alloys and compounds, 205(1-2), 1994, pp. 63-67
The standard enthalpies of formation of Ni3Ta, Pd3Ta, Pt3Nb, Pt2V and
Pt3V have been determined by direct synthesis calorimetry at 1473 +/-
2 K. The following values of DELTAH-f(0) (kJ g-1 atom-1) are reported:
Ni3Ta, - (20.4 +/- 2.3); Pd3Ta, -(36.1 +/- 2.0); Pt3Nb, -(46.6 +/- 3.
7); Pt2V, -(37.2 +/- 2.5); Pt3V, -(27.4 +/- 3.0). The results are comp
ared with data available in the literature for Ni3Ta and Pt3V and with
predicted values from the model of Miedema.
