Abstract
Mitral stenosis associated with membranous obstruction of the inferior vena cava is a rare condition which has not been previously reported. We report a 60-year-old man who presented with pulmonary hypertension and obstruction of hepatic venous outflow due to the above combinatio n. The interrelationship between these two disease entities is also di scussed in detail.
