Abstract
In this article we report the results of an experiment performed in 19 93 at PSI. The goal was to determine the absolute rate of nuclear muon capture by He-3. In the experiment we used a new technique recently d eveloped at Gatchina. As a preliminary result from this experiment we obtained Lambda(C) = (1496 +/- 3 (stat) +/- 3 (syst)) s(-1).
