Abstract
Intrapartum fetal heart responses to a maternal exercise routine are d escribed in two volunteers. The fetal heart rates were not affected by a brief exercise, which intensity was approximately 60% of the maximu m aerobic capacity. These patients reported decreased pain perception during the exercise in labor.
