Abstract
We describe 2 cases of a lupus syndrome induced by sulfasalazine in rh eumatoid arthritis. All symptoms resolved and antihistone antibodies d isappeared when sulfasalazine was discontinued. In one patient, perinu clear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies with specificity for myelo peroxydase were found critically increased just before the occurrence of vasculitis.
