The paper presents the results of examination of 73 subjects (51 males
and 22 females) aged 20-45 on a diagnostic unit able to collect discr
ete portions of duodenal and gastric contents along with registration
of antroduodenal motor activity. The dynamics of intradigestive secret
ion and motility gave evidence for identification of reference points
and documentation of phases and stages of periodic secretory cycle. Th
e secretory in dices were studied with allowances for secretory period
icity. The signs were defined indicative of certain types of secretory
disorders in disease.
