Fz. Meerson et Vv. Skibitsky, COMPARATIVE ANTIARRHYTHMIC EFFICACY OF AC TIVATORS IN THE BODY STRESS-LIMITING SYSTEMS OF PATIENTS WITH CARDIAC-ARRHYTHMIAS, Kardiologia, 32(4), 1992, pp. 25-30
The antiarrhythmic effects produced by activators of the body's stress
-limiting systems were comparatively evaluated in patients with cardia
c arrhythmias of ischemic and non-ischemic etiology. Acediprol, gidaze
pam, and befol were found to be beneficial in ventricular premature co
ntraction when psychoemotional stress was simulated, as evidenced by 2
4-hour monitoring. The most pronounced protective therapeutical effect
of the drugs was observed in patients with arrhythmias of extracorona
ry origin and in individuals with a marked arrhythmogenic effect of st
ress. Gidazepam was shown to suppres the provocative arrhythmogenic ef
fect of the stress test.
