TMN IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY BASED ON OSI MANAGEMENT STANDARDS

In order to facilitate the implementations Of TMN interface protocols/ services studied in ITU-T, it is very important to define profiles for supporting TMN management service. This paper proposes a concrete met hod for achieving this based on OSI management standards as a promisin g TMN implementation method. It proposes an idea of structuring the TM N ISP's based on the structure of the OSI management ISP's. The paper discusses a TMN based on the OSI management ISP's. Finally the impleme ntation as software is discussed and a software architecture for effic ient application development is proposed.
