Abstract
Two children presented with abdominal tuberculosis. Because of the non specific clinical features, the diagnosis required a high index of cli nical suspicion. Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) under ultrasonographic g uidance allowed an early definitive diagnosis and bacteriological conf irmation to guide chemotherapy. Both patients responded well to antitu berculous chemotherapy.
