Abstract
Restrictions on Yukawa-type hypothetical forces with extremely small r ange of action are obtained from London force measurements and from sp ectroscopy of exotic atoms. A new experiment for measuring the attract ive force in atomic force microscopy is shown to promise the strengthe ning of the restrictions obtained up to date by 200 times within the r ange 1 < lambda < 100 angstrom.
