Abstract
In this study, the detergents pollution level on the municipal treated waste waters of the city of Thessaloniki and on the water of the rece iver gulf of Thermaikos were determined. Results from the terrestrial sampling stations showed some high LAS values for certain months. Resu lts from marine sampling stations showed low LAS values, that distant from toxicity range for aquatic life.
