Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of how various designs of radiation mo dulators in a pyrocamera affect the reduced sensitivity distribution o ver the target area of the pyrovidicon. The modulation-dependent facto rs that decrease the useful signal and cause gradation distortion of t he output image are determined.
