Abstract
This paper analyzes the results of a study of the polarization propert ies of certain prisms (AR-0, BS-0, P-0) and mirrors when they are arbi trarily oriented in space. The process of varying the polarization sta te of incoming plane-polarized radiation and the transmittances of the optical elements is considered. The form of reflective coating and th e polarization azimuths of the incoming radiation are determined that produce the minimum variations of the parameters of the outgoing polar ize radiation and of the transmittances of the elements.
