Abstract
Reaction of chiral allylic and dienylic cyclic carbonates with various nucleophiles in the presence of (PPh(3))(4)Pd as a catalyst afforded alpha-, gamma-, or epsilon-substituted products with high regio-, (E)- stereo-, and diastereoselectivity depending on nucleophiles.
