Thin films of hydrogenated Gd1-xFex (0.25 less-than-or-equal-to x less
-than-or-equal-to 0.90) amorphous alloys were prepared by reactive eva
poration. Effusion experiments, showing several hydrogen release peaks
, allowed us to describe the site distribution of hydrogen in these al
loys. The different local environments correspond to tetrahedral sites
