We show the results of computer simulations of the time scale generate
d by the atomic time (TA) algorithm, using data obtained from an ensem
ble of clocks at Communications Research Laboratory (CRL). Three accur
acy evaluations were made using the laboratory type primary frequency
standard (CRL Cs1) over the period between February, 1989 and January,
1992. Our results show that the accuracy of the TA(CRL) time scale ra
te is increased by more than 5-6 times when using the clock data calib
rated by the primary frequency standard.
